Dance Music

Although there is evidence for a combination of dance and music in antiquity (for example, Greek VASE antique look, sometimes accompanied by musicians, dancers), Western dance music until we can still play with certainty survived medieval chants and dances as Estampie. The first of these dances is survive is almost as old as the music notation based on Western actors.
